Including also visit to the Basilica of Our Lady Of The Rosary, where the tombs of the little children (Now Saints), can be visited, the Most Holy Trinity Basilica, built in 2007 as the 4th biggest in the world and the Chapel of the Apparitions where Our Lady appeared. Free time to assist Mass available in the morning period. Itinerary
The Private Tour of Fatima Sanctuary will show you the best highlights of Fatima in one full-day, allowing also time for mass, for approx 8h duration. Although the itinerary can be adjusted during the day, this is the suggested itinerary:
- 8AM – Pick-up optional at your hotel in Lisbon, Airport, or at your cruise ship terminal while docking in Lisbon (flexible start time for cruise ship passengers)
- Travel with A/C vehicle driving towards Fatima from Lisbon, about 80 miles north from Lisbon (1h20 drive)
- Free time to visit the Fatima Sanctuary and attend mass (1h30m) – Extra time at Sanctuary is possible on Full-Day Tours
- Visit to the Chapel of the Apparitions, where Our Lady appeared to the three children in 1917
- Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, where the tombs of the Children, now Saints Jacinta and Francisco are buried
- Visit to the Most Holy Trinity Basilica, considered the 4th biggest catholic church in the world
- Stop for Lunch in Fatima
- Optional Visit to the religious artifacts factory, located near the Sanctuary
- Visit to the place where the three little children (now Saints) were born and where they have lived during the apparitions, in Valinhos, 10min away from Fatima. In May 2017, the children of Fatima, Francisco and Jacinta have been canonized as Saints by Pope Francis. Visit to their houses.
- Return to Lisbon (1h20 drive) for optional drop-off at desired location (hotel, airport or cruise ship)
